It’s been a month I got scalds on my arms with boiling water. The skin exposed after blister removal has blackened. New skin has yet to form. What care should I take? I do all my household work; I specially want to know that can I wash dishes with detergents with bare hands. My hands are also burnt.....what other tips for good recovery?

Aloe vera is the best solution for this. Apply Aloe vera daily just as you wake up. This will give you a definite change.

The proper skin care is face wash and body wash according to me. Because when we return home our face is dirty then that time we can use face wash and body wash to clean face and body. And if we care our skin we must care from sunrise. And if we go in sunrise we must use sun protection cream. If your body was burnt use a cream which match your skin.

Vitamin E is essential for you at a great extent. But after all my honest opinion for you is that consult a skin specialist because know one can suggest you better than him. It's a serious matter.

Here are some effective home remedies to treat burnt hands:
-Apply a lotion or cream that contains Vitamin A.
-Vitamin C with bioflavonoids is an excellent antioxidant that helps in the formation o collagen.
-Foods containing Vitamin E helps in getting rid of the scars.
-Plantain leaves are another effective home remedy. Smash the leaves and wrap the affected area with it.
-Apply some aloe vera gel on the burnt area. It gets rid of the marks in no time.
-Moisturizing creams also help get rid of burnt marks but it should be applied daily and the marks may only disappear after a week or so.

I think detergent powder is harmful to your skin, because it contains lots of chemicals. To prevent from this burnt you can apply Vitamin E containing lotion over the skin. If it is doesn’t work you should meet your family doctor.
