November 13 marks the 10-year anniversary of World Kindness Day.
According to organisers, "The purpose of World Kindness Day is to look beyond ourselves, beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond our culture, our race, our religion; and realise we are citizens of the world."
I'm curious to know what you are doing, what you've done on previous WKDs...or if you're action will be a spontaneous one.

| Whoops - I've never heard of World Kindness Day and now I've missed it. I guess I'll just have to have my onw private 'Kindness Day' and try and do something unselfish.

| What is with all these "days"? World Kindness day, talk like a pirate day, teacher day, literacy day, lefthanders day... and so on. http://www.earthcalendar.net/_php/lookup.php?mode=country I personally like the fun of "talk like a pirate day" arrrr, but seriously. Are all these "days" necessary? I suppose it's like the whole Valentines Day debate, that people should show they appreciate those they love every day. But really we all hope we get that bunch of roses sent to work, or some romantic gesture. It is nice to feel special. But, I just wonder if it really makes people aware of issues, or does having them really just show how people seem to need an assigned day to consider the basic human virtue of kindness, or even just feeling empathy to others.

I've never heard of this day, I'll remember to be kind on this day
Just got me thinking how many more other special days we dont really know about. 
Motorcycle helmets are a type of protective gear. Motorbike accessories are used by bikers.
